Abstract
In this paper, we propose a generic concept of flexible intelligence machine control (FIMC) which has a hierarchical structure and two functions: knowledge acquisition and adaptive learning. We show a practical example of FIMC applied to temperature control on an actual Jacket tank in polymerization process.
