Abstract
At 09:01 on March 8, 2000, a derailment took place at Nakameguro Station precient on the Teito Rapid Transit Authority's Hibiya Line, 18k340m point from the starting terminal. The accident was at the start of an easement (transition) curve continuing left with a 150 m radius. The rise in the gradient at that point was 35%. The centers of Lines A and B were 3.5 m apart. They had no derailment prevention guards.
