I am deeply honored to receive the JACIII Young Researcher Award 2026. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the JACIII editorial board, award committee, and reviewers for this prestigious recognition. It is a great privilege to have our research recognized in this manner.
The awarded paper, “Empirical Analysis of Ticket-Sales Strategies in the Live Entertainment Market,” explores ticket-sales strategies in the live entertainment market, where designing appropriate pricing and allocation mechanisms remains an important challenge. In this study, we focused on hybrid sales that combine auction sales and uniform pricing sales, and conducted a social simulation based on empirical data from an actual performance in Japan. To construct a model that reflects real-world market characteristics, we calculated seat utility values for an actual theater, and estimated the reserve price distribution of customers using transaction price data from ticket resale platforms. Using this approach, we examined the practical application of hybrid sales from the perspectives of both customer utility and producer surplus.
My research focuses on operations research, social simulation, and their applications to decision-making in real-world social and economic systems. In particular, I employ mathematical and computational approaches to analyze complex problems involving multiple stakeholders and to design strategies that balance competing objectives.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to my co-author, Professor Takashi Hasuike, for his invaluable guidance and support throughout this work. This award serves as great encouragement for my efforts to bridge quantitative methodologies with practical challenges. Moving forward, I hope to continue pursuing research that provides meaningful insights into real-world decision-making and can tangibly contribute to both academia and society.

We are deeply honored to have received the JACIII YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD 2026. We would like to thank JACIII for recognizing our research achievements and the reviewers and editorial office for their contributions to improving the quality of our paper during its early stages. We are also grateful to the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China for funding our research project.
In our paper titled Improved Pure Pursuit Algorithm Based Path Tracking Method for Autonomous Vehicle, we present an improved pure pursuit control algorithm for the lateral control of autonomous vehicles to achieve enhanced driving accuracy. The proposed method innovatively combines vehicle speed and road curvature to adaptively adjust the look-ahead distance of the pure pursuit algorithm, thereby improving tracking accuracy on curved roads. This method is applied to autonomous vehicle products, demonstrating its practical value for real-world applications.
As a research team from the Changjiang Institute of Technology and Wuhan Goyu Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., we are dedicated to research and product development in the fields of autonomous vehicles and wheeled-robot technologies. This award serves as a tremendous encouragement for our research. We will continue to conduct in-depth scientific research in engineering applications, maintain cooperation with JACIII, and produce higher-quality papers.
