Abstract

Japan Association for Planning and Public Management (JAPPM) was founded on 27 August, 1977, and has currently 1,300 members. The main objective of the JAPPM is to establish “Planning and Public Management” as an academic field. In order to reach this goal, it is essential that scientists, administrators and businesses in a variety of fields related to planning, administration and public management should cooperate with each other to progress their transdisciplinary studies further.
