Abstract
We suggest using elements from fuzzy geometry to form queries into both crisp and fuzzy databases. Numerous examples of such queries are presented and we give numerical results for a crisp database. We show in the fuzzy database that queries and most responses are in terms of linguistic variables. , a query is of the form "what is near (around 40 years old and income approximately $75,000) " with response "(around 50 years old and rich), (old and income approximately $90,000),...".
